Core and replacement parts

Raspberry Pi: 3B, 3B+ or 4. The 3B and 3B+ are the standard choice; a Pi 4 works but runs hotter and draws more power.

GPS

Internal GPS: works for most window mounts.
External GPS or a removable GPS puck: better in cockpits with a metal roof or poor sky view.

Stratux needs a 2 A or better power source. Weaker supplies cause reboots. See Power and status lights.
