Stratux v2.0 (February 2025) is a single image for the United States, Europe and the rest of the world: you choose your region in the web interface after it boots. It's a major release, so you install it by flashing the microSD card; it can't be installed as an over-the-air update from 1.x.
How to install it
- Download the
.zipabove and unzip it to get the.imgfile. - Flash the image to a microSD card with balenaEtcher.
- Put the card back in your Stratux and power it on. The first boot takes a couple of minutes.

Pre-releases
Want to try what's next? The newest pre-release is v2.0-pre5 (March 2026). Pre-releases are for testing, so expect rough edges, and report what you find on Discord or GitHub.
Legacy: Europe Edition 1.6
Before v2.0, European users ran a separate "Europe Edition." Its final release, v1.6r1-eu032 (September 2024), is still available, but new installs should use v2.0.
Only download Stratux from GitHub releases or this page. Old download links you may find on forums point to images that are years out of date.
