Parts guides

The individual guides for cases, radios, GPS chips, the serial adapter and more are collected in the parts and build guides library. For anything beyond the standard build, the community keeps a list of supported hardware.

Tips before you start

  • Hand-tighten antennas. Pliers can break the small internal cables. See Antennas.
  • Use a 2 A or better power supply for testing. Weak supplies cause boot loops that look like build problems.
  • Give the GPS a clear view of the sky for its first lock, which can take 10–20 minutes.
  • Ask questions on Discord. Builders help builders.
