The Stratux web interface

Every Stratux has a built-in web page for checking status and changing settings. Connect your tablet, phone or laptop to the Stratux Wi-Fi network and open 192.168.10.1 in a browser.

Status

The first stop when something isn't working. It shows the software version, and whether the GPS, UAT (978 MHz), 1090 MHz and AHRS are connected and receiving, with message counts that climb as data arrives. Include a screenshot of this page when you ask for help.

Settings

Turn receivers and features on and off, set your region, choose AHRS orientation, and more.

  • Settings apply immediately. There's no "save and restart" button.
  • Developer mode: click the version number rapidly to reveal a few extra settings. There's no checkbox, and it only adds options; it doesn't change how Stratux runs.
  • Wi-Fi security settings: if you change Wi-Fi settings and can no longer connect, the reliable fix is to back up stratux.conf, reflash the card, and restore your settings.

GPS/AHRS

Satellites, fix type and position, plus the attitude display and orientation tools. See GPS troubleshooting and AHRS.

Traffic and weather

Lists of the traffic targets and weather messages Stratux is receiving. They're useful for checking that data reaches Stratux even when your EFB isn't showing it.

Towers

The ADS-B ground stations Stratux is currently hearing, with their positions and how many messages each has sent. Spotted a station that isn't on our ground station map? Let us know.
