Daily Ground School
Five aviation questions a day, the same for everyone. Free ground school practice for pilots.
How to play
Each day brings one five-question exam, drawn from private pilot topics such as weather, airspace, aerodynamics and regulations. You get 20 seconds per question. A correct answer is worth 100 points, plus up to 100 more for answering quickly. After every question you see the right answer and a short explanation of why it is right. Practice mode gives you ten random questions from any subject, and it never touches your streak.
Why pilots like it
The FAA Airman Knowledge Test is multiple choice, and ground school sticks best in short, frequent sessions. Five questions a day keep regulations, weather and airspace rules fresh between flight lessons. Each explanation points you back to the reasoning, not just the letter.
Frequently asked questions
Is Daily Ground School free?
Yes. There is no account and no install. Your name is only used if you post a score to today's board.
Are the questions the same for everyone?
Yes. Every player gets the same five questions and answer order each day, and a new set starts at local midnight.
Can I use this to pass the FAA test?
It is a study aid, not the official question bank. Use it alongside the FAA handbooks, such as the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, and your flight instructor's guidance.
How is the score calculated?
Each correct answer is worth 100 points plus a speed bonus of up to 100, so a perfect day scores 1000.
