QUAD SQUAWKLE
The hard aviation word game: four pilot words, nine guesses.
QUAD SQUAWKLE is a free quordle for aviation fans. If you like SQUAWKLE and want a tougher aviation word game, this is the next step up. Four boards run side by side, and every guess you make is played on all of them.
How to play
- Type a real five-letter word and press Enter. It is scored on every board that isn't solved yet.
- Green means the right letter in the right place, amber means the letter is in that word elsewhere, grey means it isn't there.
- You have nine guesses to solve all four words. Each keyboard key shows four colored quarters, one for each board.
- A new daily puzzle appears at local midnight, and practice mode gives you unlimited extras without touching your streak.
Why pilots like it
The answers come from everyday flying vocabulary: parts of the airplane, weather, instruments and procedures. When the puzzle ends, every word is shown with a short definition, so a round doubles as a quick refresher. Splitting your guesses across four words is a lot like scanning a panel: you cross-check several sources at once and decide what to look at next. Share your result as a tidy grid of numbers and see who on the ramp solved it in the fewest guesses.
