BUILD-A-STRATUX
Tweezers, nine parts and one steady hand.
How to play
Grab each part from the tray with the tweezers and carry it along the glowing channel to its slot in the case. Touch a channel wall, a swinging cable or a spinning fan blade and it goes BZZZT: a short circuit that drops the part back to the tray. With a mouse, hold and drag. On touch, drag and the part rides above your finger. From the keyboard, use the arrow keys to move and Space to grab and drop.
Three shorts on one part fries it and costs a spare. Lose all three spares and the build is over. A part with zero shorts earns a steady-hands bonus, and faster is worth more. After the nine parts you wire three cables to matching ports and press power on to boot the Stratux web UI.
Beat the standard build to unlock Time Attack, or play the daily build, where everyone gets the same layout.
About the real thing
A Stratux is a small ADS-B receiver built around a single-board computer, two software-defined radios and a GPS. It listens for aircraft transponders and weather broadcasts and sends them over Wi-Fi to your EFB app. The real build is simpler than the game and needs no tweezers, but the parts are the same ones that show up here.
